Dr. Mario Reichel

Dr. Mario Reichelhas been working as Lead Payment Industry Representative at PPI AG, a consulting and solutions provider for the banking payments sector, since 2019. In this role, he serves as a coach for banks and is also involved in PPI’s product management.

With more than 25 years of experience in the payments industry, he is deeply committed to standardization—not only professionally in the interbank sector, but also in the customer-bank relationship.

Since 2012, he has been a member of the Cash & Liquidity Division of the Association of German Treasurers (VDT). There, he heads the API Working Group and is also active in the working groups on cryptocurrency, formats, and the digitization of foreign trade processing.

In addition to his involvement with the VDT, he is also co-convener of the CGI-MP.
