Thomas Lehmpuhl

Thomas Lehmpuhl has been Head of the Cash Management & Trade Finance Department at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) in Stuttgart since July 2025. There, he oversees all cash management and trade finance operations for corporate clients, banks, institutional clients, and savings banks, as well as LBBW’s correspondent banking business. Prior to that, he headed the Correspondent Banking Department starting in 2022, focusing on emerging markets, and was responsible for expanding the global correspondent banking network and managing payment transactions with banks, institutional clients, and savings banks.

From 2017 until he joined LBBW in July 2022, Thomas Lehmpuhl was Head of the Financial Institutions Sales Department at BayernLB in Munich. There, he was responsible for providing client support to banks and institutional clients across the entire product portfolio.

His previous positions include leadership roles in corporate banking as well as in international non-performing loan and restructuring management in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine. Mr. Lehmpuhl thus combines many years of leadership experience with proven expertise in global transaction banking, corporate banking, emerging markets, and credit risk management.
