WHO WE ARE
Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) considers Austria—where it is a leading commercial and investment bank—as well as Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to be its home market. In addition, the Group comprises numerous other financial service providers, for example in the areas of leasing, asset management, and M&A. To support its business activities, RBI maintains representative offices and service branches at selected locations in Asia and Western Europe.
HISTORY
RBI was already active in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) before the region’s political transformation began and the “Iron Curtain” fell: Its first subsidiary bank in Hungary was established as early as 1986. As a result, the bank has more than 30 years of experience in the region’s banking sector.
